The Stupid Maths Teacher AGAIN.

F*UK. I almost threw my maths textbook at my maths teacher yesterday.

He apparently consulted the HOD about the -4 squared question. Yes he (maths teacher) agrees that -4 squared is indeed 16 but in this case. they didnt put the frikkin brackets ie: (-4) so you must square 4 (which is 16) then put the negative sign infront of it. therefore the answer is -16.

WHAT COW LOGIC IS THAT? THERE IS NO SUCH TECHNIQUE WHEN YOU ARE DEALING WITH NEGATIVE NUMBERS!

It can only be interpreted as -4 squared. which is 16! how can you make up such things?!
I was literally argueing with him while the entire class watched with fascinated and horrified looks like war was going to break out over a simple disagreement.

Then I thought I didn't want to waste my saliva on such a thick person and so shut up, and looking so bloody damned defeated. (and then there was the girl beside me hushing at me to 'cool down' and 'relax')

After the lesson I asked him for my excercise book back to do the homework.His reply:

"I'll try to get it back" (but its got a I-don't-like-you tone)

Yes as you can probably guess, Im in his bad books.
Maths wasn't as interesting as I thought it would be.

I swear I wanna go back to Mr Chionh. At least what he teaches has more logic.
