Pardon the many pics of me and few of Aimi, she doesnt like her picatures to be many. really, I put up a 50/50 share of our pics but it ended up otherwise.
I am not so self-obsessed ok!

CAMWHOREING ON MY PART :D

My head is as usual on a funny angle. Looks like it might roll off anytime teheheh!

ANNNNDDD..... some attempts at being a model, hardly succeeded but I like the way the wind blows my hair!
Aimi wasnt too keen on photos of her so I camwhored myself hahahaha! Pardon me. XD

Anyways, after a light lunch, we kept walking along the more quieter alleyways and streets of the city and guess what we found!
THE CHURCH OF SCIENTOLOGY!

Just incase any of you have been living under a rock, Scientology is, as quoted from Wikipedia...
Scientology is a body of beliefs and related practices initially developed by L. Ron Hubbard in 1952 as a successor of his earlier self-help system, Dianetics. Hubbard later characterized Scientology as an "applied religious philosophy" and the basis for a new religion. Scientology encompasses a spiritual rehabilitation philosophy and techniques, and covers topics such as morals, ethics, detoxification, education and management. The practice and promotion of the Scientology belief system is organised via the Church of Scientology, of which the first was founded in the year 1953.It is also more commonly known as the religious faiths of Hollywood celebrities John Travolta, Ton Cruise, Katie Holmes and James Packer.
Ok, so its a unfamiliar thing to most of us, but never hurt to try right? People fear these things because they are unfamiliar with it. Just like how people fear Islam, its because they assume and get lead by whatever the media throws at the and thus they dont truly understand what its all about and of course, they fear it ,... they think its cult like, or they think every muslim is about to blow their brains out. So to solve the problem, we all give everyone a fair go yes? :D
Ok some bits of Scientology I think are abit strange, like how Katie Holmes was told to be silent while giving birth to Suri. I mean, ok Ive never given borth obviously, but seriously, to remain silent is just cruel. Why don't the Scientologist males go try peeing an orange. If they can keep quiet while doing that, then I'll happily volunteer to shut my mouth with masking tape when and if I ever in the future give birth. Yup, you heard it right here on reenybob.blogspot.com =D
Anyways, maybe Scientology isnt as wierd as it looks to be ^^

So we saw they were offering free stress tests! I thought it would be an interesting insight to perhaps the worlds most controversial religion. Plus, its free. Who cannot resist a freebie?!
The guy introduced us to the little machine sitting beside him, it was a Stress Meter. What you do is hold the two metal cylinders as shown and as we answer qs from him, the meter will flicker. Ok, sounds relatively simple.

Aimi only took one pic of me lol. But anyways, thats not the intereting thing. The man asked me all kindsa questions from are there any problems in my school life, family life.. etc etc.
I said no to all of them, and apparently, Im registering a very low stress reading! HAH. im not surprised, its the holidays! stress what? :D
Then he started asking me something to do with boys (!!) and the indicator flicked heaps high! Ok, so apparently I have stress.. from guys =o=
Stupid beings from Mars.....
hahahah jokes jokes.! Im not so mean. But yeah ahahahah! apparently the biggest stress in my life is from the opposite sex!
He asked what is it about men that stresses me and I replied well, they don't UNDERSTAND ME! haha. He reckons its normal and that males and female will get pissed at each other.. (ok trying to recall what he said) and it takes some communication practise and lotsa understanding..etc etc yadda yadda yadda.. He sounds like a relationship psychiatrist.
So next was Aimi's turn. I wasnt really paying attention to their convo but it was along the same lines. I was too busy snapping picatures ^^

Ok, finishing off that Scientology experience, the guy was really nice and the whole thing didnt seem too wierd, felt really normal, I came back with my sanity intact so it can't be too bad. He did talk about peace and harmony in relation to stress, and it kinda all made sense, sound kinda like the stuff you would hear from a counsellors mouth.
I would says Scientology this far, isnt as scary as the media makes it out to be. But who knows :D
I say it was an enlightening experience. at least I walked away knowing my biggest problem-causes in my life teheheheh :P *sticks tongue out cheekily at all the males reading this*
Jokes jokes!
It was pretty awesome seeing Aimi for the first time since last May, I reckon she still looks the same lol.
We had a great catch up on everything us-related and well, life goes on from here I suppose (:
annnndd, to end off, a typical nice self-obsessed picature of me in the Esprit store =D
