Drool-worthy Mac Book Pros and Such

All Daniels fault for introducing the world of Apple (esp MBP's) to me... _-_

Ok jokes jokes =D

Knowing me and my fanatiscism for good looking gadgets since I was a tiny tot, and tech stuff too, I literally drooled over these snazzy Mac Book Pros I found on the net! *wipes drool off face*

As it is, I already swear by my ipod nano of over a year and slowly growing to love Apples products as the day goes by. I used to not really delve into the Apple world, having been brought up on Windows. but now that Im going to start a design course in uni, and having read god knows how many reviews on mac products, and heard streams of mac-talk pertaining to mac books being better for design, Im reconsidering making my mac upgrade earlier than I was thinking of. (was thinking upgrading, when I start my major in second year when Im solidly sure Im doing Creative Advertising)

Apple is another techo sucker, like Sony. Sony sucked me in with their awesome sleek cameras, I always loved Ipods, now Apple is giving me more reasons to ditch Windows, and take on their other products 0_0

sigh.
This is what happens when you love pretty things THAT ACTUALY PERFORM too much. Sucks ones wallets dry.

The main thing holding me back is that I just got my laptop in July 2007, seriously recent, and well, do I have a valid enough excuse to upgrade? I know Curtin Uni utilises Macs for design, and having a macbook would make life much easier in terms of not having to switch between operating systems at campus and home. AUD$3300+ is no spare-change-from-under-my-bed amount, so Im thinking really seriously about this, and definitely not because of materialistic or keeping-up-with-the-Jone's reasons. The parentals even offered me the upgrade after a long discussion with a techie cousin. I admit I love the aethetics of Apple products but never switched because I couldn't be stuffed learning new OS and to be honest, I was a Windows loyal....hmmm......

For now, its just more research and analysing my needs.... and perving on glamour-puss models of MBP (:

TOO EFFING BEAUTIFUL! I like this engraved one lots! If I got a MBP, I would etch my face on it!

ok, kidding .

OMG REAL GOLD AND DIAMONDS OK!
I would need a bodyguard to follow me everywhere.
*drooooooool*

I put this up just cos its pink. Personally, I find the pink one real ugly haha, but interesting nontheless (:

How? any macbookists out there care to share some tips? Or anyone with advice?
I will feel seriously guilty if I upgraded laptops so soon.- thats the big factor holding me back at the mo.
The more I perve on the piccies, the more I want one hahaha.

*head in hands*

Just get the dam MBP, it's the best purchase you'll ever make. And once you get used to Mac OS X Leopard - you'll wonder how you ever lived without it. place the handiest thing about Mac's is ........"THEY JUST WORK.......SIMPLE AS"
-it's the only computer i've ever had that brings a smile to my face. as you'll find, mac owners just simply love using their comps, as opposed to windows users who just continuously complain about viruses and these random program error etc...

just upgrade already.... you won't regret it =)
