Singapore Part 1

OMFG I sure haven't blogged in AAAGGGGEEESS!

I have so so freakin much to rant about. The stuff just slowly accumalated the past few weeks and POOF I cant stand it no more so behold long grandmother story ahead.

Go make urself a good kopi-o, teh-o or milo-o (:

One thing I gots to say is I REALLY MISS SINGAPORE!
I swear its is probably second 2ND! to the Japanese in terms of technologified stuff and coolness, though on the other hand, I must admit that Singapore is probably #9082318599.99 in terms of mannerisms and human relations. More on that later.

Swear if you just want to be a guilty spender and indulge in materialisms for once in your life, Singapore is the way to go. (SingaporeTourismBoard should be paying me for this statement.)

VIVOCITY

The day after I landed at Changi Airport, Me, Nicholas Alyssa and Ianson went to Vivocity, some new hip bigger-than-my-ass sized new shopping centre at HarbourFront. OMG do you know its like every single freakin where in Singapore is shopping centre?! GAWD. Singaporeans really know how to take their shopping seriously. *blank stare*

One can never have enough shoes.

DINNER VENUE #1

Vivocity is abit of a richkids playground so food there wasnt exactly hawker centre pricing but nonetheless we got hungry around 5pm and found this clean Zen like restaurant - Garuda Padang Cuisine.

The prices looked pretty OKAY so we just erm.. walked in and a waitress sat us down.

I tell you that place is so freakin RACIST AND SO FREAKIN NO STANDARD SERVICE and BAH! *rolls eyes round and round*

See we didnt know if a waitress was gna give us our menus or we were supposed to do it buffet style or what so we just kinda stared around like blur kings/queens until this waitress guided us to the buffet bar. and then...

we kinda like just stood there and stared at each other as if each other was some yummy FHM bikini babe. =.=

I reckon she thinks we can read her mind or something but WE TOTALLY DIDNT KNOW WHAT TO DO! Do we tell her or tell the guy behind the counter? Do we collect here or get it delivered to the table?! KNS.

Then we asked her whats each dish and SHE MUMBLED TO HERSELF. *mmhmhmhmhm* I CANT FREAKIN HEAR YOU!

She just stood there keeping a eagle eye on us as if we would at anytime grab the tubs of curry and run out of the restaurant yelling *OOMBA OOMBA OOMBA! HAH HAH HAH!*, tribal style. =.=

And then we asked her what drinks they have... so she blankly stare at us and showed us her order pad.

ALL IN BAHASA INDONESIAN=.=

Do I look like indonesian to you? *pushes your face into mine*

Do I?

I DONT UNDERSTAND B.I!

All we could make out from the drinks list was 'ais lemon' (or was it lemon ais'?) otherwise known as Ice Lemon Tea.

Oh well. Meh. We managed to decipher all that indonesian hoo haa and get some food. FINALLY.

Bitched about crap service (cos all 3 of us work in the food waitressing industry) and then tucked into good ol' food ^^ - namely Sambal prawns, some brown curried chicken and plain rice.



I liked their cutlery. The cutlery was pretty. (:

DINNER VENUE #2

After Ianson joined us after our little stint at Garuda Padang, we got hungry AGAIN! and so went to this place upstairs called 'Terra Cafe'

The lady at the door podium was so friendly. there was a long queue there but she told us to give her our phone number and she'll ring us when theres a free table.

Nice service. I like. ^^






I swear this last picture of my Tom Yam Noodle used MAGGI NOODLES =.= It looks liie maggi noodles aye? Iansons firend something noodle came before mine and it also closely resembled maggi noodles and thus the following conversation ensued...

Me: eh your noodle looks like maggi mee! *sniggers*

Ianson: shuttup lah Im trying to bluff myself that it isnt!

Well.. it was kinda cheap after all. *pouts* Nonetheless, tasted fine. But the pasta there is abit bland. Desserts are good especially tiramisu ^^ budget dessert that is haha.

Anyway thats it for now. Sorry it took so freakin long to put this up but sch has been so busy.. either that or Ive been sick to the bone, and blogger was being gay too *pouts*

And did I mention.. I have this big ass post Ive had in mind to do.. about the ever popular overrated thing called MYSPACE. Donno what triggered it off but thats not important.
