Just incase you havent heard about it. The video has an awesomely touching story to it. And it comes in like 6 languages! Ive got english, chinese and korean in my ipod. Still searching for the vietnamese, tagalog and dialect versions ^^



I think ever since my last trip back to Singapore, where I was forced literally, to listen to asian music by my super-asian (DUH - Singapore) friends, I have come to appreciate asian music so much. Im still in the process of slamming myself on why I didnt get into it earlier.

I used to think asian music is like those slow cheem string instruments with equally slow lyrics to the tune of random chords going off into random sharps and flat notes characteristic of typical fobby music. But hell I was wrong. Asian music is so happy-ish and fun to sing along to. (Yes I sing along to it. Obviously at night when everyones in Snoozeland so I can sing as loud as I want)

Obviously being in an Asian society (then, not now.) and also being an asian, I had to, sooner or later get into the lifestyle.

My break through moment?

Being made to listen to the same one chinese song for SIX HOURS ON END during a study session. =//
I swear my brain went kuku after that.

Ning Xia by Fish Leong (Liang Jing Ru)

Its a nice song but seriously, I listened until can die.
Friend in question was obsessed over Fish Leongs new album release and thus the song being on repeat on her home music system - full blast loud.

The song is 3 mins 30 secs long
Thats like 103 times over 6 hours 0_o

I wouldnt be surprised if I was singing it in my sleep that night!

But anyway. Im not very good, and I am pretty lazy at scouting around for new music but thankfully theres people like Aimi whos laptops are filled to crazy with thousands of asian tracks for me to leech off, thus saving me scouting time and effort and leaving me with more time to pursue other recreation.

She sent me this song, its called Balloons, by japanese group Tohoshinki. (correct me if I am wrong, though). The song however, is sung in korean.
