Handsome guys and Music

I dont think I ever mentioned here but Aimi had (Im presuming she over him by now) an absolutely love affair with Edison Chen. It kinda got to the point where she only listened to canto-rap which featured Edison, and simultaneously driving round and round the walls with how YUMMY Edison Chen was. Frankly I think edison chen looks pretty average to me. And it always struck me as to why she would ever get this obessed with a celebrity when... well... hes out of your reach right? I mean, you could have been ogling a real human instead.

NOW I UNDERSTAND.

I am officially obsessed with Takeshi Kaneshiro ^^

Anyway, on another thought, this is reference to the previous post where I requested for a few songs if anyone had them.

Frankly, It does not bother my toehairs if some if them are out dated. Yes I have heard Macarena before. Yes it was about 10 years ago that I heard it at my spanish friends' birthday party when I was in primary school. Yes Amazing is a few years old and Alex Lloyd isnt a current teen favourite. But some oldies stick and besides, this is me listening to them and I am not going to ram these tracks down your ear funnels and attempt to puncture your eardrums. At a recent 18th birthday party we were partying to the sounds of Disney, Macarena and Barbie Girl! Talk about becoming a kid again.

On a side note, another thing that really pisses the cow out of me is how many aussie bred chinese worship english pop. Perhaps you may not have heard asian music but still its just very degrading the way they walk around proclaiming to all that english tracks are so much better and cheena tracks 'suck to the core'
. Obviously you have not actually listened to any (no access? ok understandable but still ignorant comments are NOT an excuse) or you cannot appreciate other cultures enough to respect their artistic creations. I wont confess I can understand all the lyrics of chinese music (frankly I hate chinese to the core, but that only applies to learning it) but I think chinese and certain japanese pop music tracks are absolutely gorgeous and a big time relief to my eardrums from the constant bombard of metallic band instruments and the same old typical lyrical formats of love, sex, sexual references and the like so prevalent in modern popular english music culture.

And if you are assuming that I am a new chinese in an english society. I have spent approximately 9 years which accounts for almost half of my life, in Australia so I would like to feel that I have a pretty balanced view.

So I would very much appreciate it if you didnt let your trend-consciousness affect me as I would still like to have my own choices and not be blindly and ignorantly led to only listen to what the majority (or you) prefers to listen to, and then throwing aside the songs of yesteryear.

And anyway, since when was there such rule saying that what is 'outdated' cannot be INdated again? I wouldnt even mind listening to Barbie Girl by Aqua right now.

Macarena is IN. ^^
