Act Cute Part 2

Do you remember the time I posted an entry about the Act Cute Buay Cute? (Posted Wednesday March 8th 2006) basically meaning, for the un-singaporean, Acting cute BUT NOT cute)

If you dont understand what Im going on about,then you obviously have been tuned out of my blog for the past month or so, or you're just not Singaporean.) OK, background check: acting cute is the term we asians use to label those (girls) who pose, act and talk submissively like they're so fragile and will shatter into a tiny crystalline fragments should you so much shoot them an angry face. Think Pretty In Tokyo Neoprint Shops and those example shots they display of the owners who are like soooooo past their prime and piled with make up you need to call in the bull dozers to get all the gunk off their faces.
Characteristics of kawaii poses include fishball-like eyes looking up at you and they writes lyks
dishh shio dat dhey can shio everybodi dat dey arexx kawaii nehxx and shio shugary shweet worrxx and shio cute cute dat all di bois want muii as dere darling laopo.

(I mean if the Japanese do it, its fine, They are naturally cute.)

People like this. I erased their eyes to protect their privacy.cos Im nice and don't embarrass people. But these are just the watered down versions and abit too out of the age group im refering to. Read on for better pic links.








Anyway, getting on...

Apparently Im not the only one around whos insides flip at the sight of kawaii nehxx poses and terminology used by the budding ah lians which are sprouting up faster than you can say 'beng'. These people,who think along the same lines as me, even went to the extent of setting up a blog about them. Called the Ahhliianc0nnection
its just a more daring version of mine , THEY EVEN PUT PICTURES WITHOUT ERASING THE EYES! OMG!
And cos really I dont want all the lians spamming my chatterboxx with thier liian like comments

As you should know I cannot understand why teens call thier significant others laogong and laopo. It really AUNTIE. And , yeah,I dont wanna get sued for flaming these try hards. *scowls*

I want to know, what do guys think of act cute girls? What goes through your mind when you see one? Do you think cute? or EEEEWW.so action? I mean, what is your view on them? Apparently girls think that by acting like that guys will be attracted to them. Are you? Im curious..0.O
