Nursing Homes And Beetles

Phwee I seriously cannot sleep these days my sleep pattern is all inside out and upside down like siao.Well today I had fun.. Perth MYG (mahikari youth grp) went to the nearby nursing home to sing a few Australiana Songs for the coming Australia Day (26 Jan). For all the Singjiaporeans, Australia Day is well.. machiam our 9 August, National Day.Actually, when we went there the nurses had gathered the oldies in a like a main hall.. you see their expressions like really STONED =//

Well as usual we were told to put on our BIGGEST AND BRIGHTEST SMILES (I never smiled so much till my mouth became sore) and with all our gusto sang as proudly as I could (inc national anthem... though abit unpatriotic then..) and like slowly you see their faces brighten up.. woo... the power of good vibrations.....=))

After which we had to sorta socialise with the oldies. Many offered me a handshake! oh mans you dont realise how amazingly soft and smooth old folks hands can be!!! I didnt want to let go you know! ok.. maybe except for one.. she stared up at me with huge eyes and VIGOROUSLY shook my hand. And I mean with lotsa energy! I thought she looked the frailest. Mans my hand was about to drop off. Lotsa them said they found me adorable (!!!!) eh please lor.. dont make that puke puke sound.. I AM IF I WANT TO BE!

Anyways,thinking off getting driving license soon. YAY i can drive soon! Im allowed to start theory in about 1-2 months time.Well soon is like 1 year ++ but oh Im so looking forward! Just imagine .. no need to depend on others to get out of the house. Im visualizing a white volkswagon beetle with white leather seats. Im planning to put heaps of white and pink soft toys and the like at the back seat and a crystal at the rear view mirror. oh my I am so dreaming too far! Elhannah says white gets dirty easily like what if a bird shits on my car? But then I shot back saying bird poop is WHITE! I just love the shape of beetle.. its so cute! *squeals*

Another thing to sorta celebrate... 2005 YEARBOOKS ARE IN! woots! hoping to see mine in the mail soon! Thanx 4E2!! This is for 4e2'06...

Dont waste sec 3 life.. And do your 10 yr series FAITHFULLY!! (quoted from mr chionh) and have fun with ducky if he's teaching you.Put him in good mood and you will enjoy his lesson like siao!
