And then up came the subject of our fascinating childcare, nursery and primary school lives....
ok.. Well when I was in childcare.. I was SMALL INNOCENT AND NAIVE.
Kinda abit like this

(I know its really 'act cute' but I cudent find any kiddy pics of me)
Anyway.. in childcare.. U know those pathetic centres downstairs the HDB flats?
Well unfortunately I got sent to those places where kids are treated like mass objects.. mass teaching, mass playing, mass eating, mass SHOWERING (EWWWWWWWWWW!!!)
And when I first got there I honestly thought the place was a kid prison.. i mean.,. who wudent.. look.. this is wat the entrance looked like...

And after mummy left me at the door (or prison gates, so I thought then) I would stand pitifully at the gates and SCREAM MY LUNGS OUT!!
Not a very nice sight I assure you.And then, when the old ah mah finally managed to prise my iron tough fingers from her precious gate (which I supopse was oredy bent outta shape) I got another shock.. I saw THESE...
I thought they were supposed to hold us little brats in. The aunties keep us in there till our parents come and pick us up. And that was why I was so scared of Nursery. Oh another horrific thing....
THE SHOWERS!!
Ok.. picture this.. mass showering.. all of us stand in line (regardless of gender, stipped stark naked) and the aunties will hose us down like how the Nazi's did those executions.... *pa pa pa pa pa pa ..*
I never liked showers cos I was shy to bare my bits and pieces (even though then I had none) to all those guys.. I knew they were definitely pervng on me.
And finally, next was the total ultimate..I honestly couldn't understand the logic behind this...
Going to the loo to excret and not being allowed to close the doors!!!
WHAT THE F**** ??!!! (this is not a 4 letter word)
I shall illustrate my point to u since pictures speak a thousand words.....
Does this picture make any cow sense to u? its just a kids view on the waiting line of kids while you sit down on the bowl and peacefully answer the call of nature. See.. Im sitting on the bowl and thats what I see when I look infront.. wahh...sucha nice view....
The teachers were afraid we would get locked in the toilets.
Well.. thats it about my nursery life.. look out for the nest issue of Reenas Younger Days
Issue #2 : Primary Days...Tomboy-ed
